In a small mixing bowl, whisk together glaze ingredients.
Pour half of glaze on salmon. Using back of spoon or brush, spread glaze all over salmon.
Grill salmon for 1-2 minutes FLESH side down, creating those nice grill marks.
Flip salmon to SKIN side down, grill for an additional 7-9 minutes.
Brush on remaining glaze, and grill for another minute or two, until salmon is done to your liking.
Notes
The goal is to sear the salmon filet quickly on both sides without drying the flesh out. Grilled fish cooks very quickly, typically in less than 10 minutes in a lid closed grill, depending on the thickness. 110-125 degrees Fahrenheit is medium-rare. Be careful not to cross contaminate the glaze. Pour the glaze on for the first round, use back of spoon to spread around. Wash spoon or grab another spoon to put the second round of glaze.
